  1. A formal will is a set of written instructions by which a person communicates
  2. how their property shall be disposed of after his or her death.  One who writes
  3. a will is said to be a testator, or a testatrix if the person is female.
  4. In the case of death where a will has been created, that person is said to die
  5. testate.  In the absence of a will a person dies intestate.  A designee instr-
  6. ucted to handle the affairs of the estate is an executor or an executrix.
  7. A will or any part thereof may be revoked or altered by a subsequent written
  8. will, codicil or other writing, declaring such revocation or alteration;
  9. provided, that the same formalities required for the execution of wills under
  10. this law are observed in the execution of such will, codicil or other writing.
